the big day. heidi and shane's wedding day. we spent the morning napping. both girls slept for 3 hours. they had a long day ahead of them and they were pumped. e's flower girl dress...
then we met heidi and the bridesmaids at the hotel in newport beach...where heidi was getting all done up...
they did miss e's hair right away...
she wasn't too sure what to think...
heidi didn't either i don't think...but they sure looked beautiful...

uncle t-bone was chilling by the pool while we were up in the room getting ready...
final touches before we head to the yacht...
we made it to the yacht. and are in the bridal room on the 3rd story. heidi dressed e into her dress...

our little flower girl elena jae...i don't think she looked up once. she seemed pretty determined to stay on the white runner. she walked down with gina and the best man instead of the ring bearers. but hey - at least she didn't scream or cry. she made it down which was all i hoped for.

at the very end when everyone started cheering adelyn started screaming crying. i had no clue what was wrong...until i sat her down and looked at her. do you see it???
my corsage got her....smack in the middle of her forehead. poor girl. i should've known, but i was so honored to wear it.

after dinner, we got the party started. see elena back there. she was all over it, but did not catch it.

elena started to fall asleep - right on the dance floor...
so we got her a cupcake...she woke right up. lol.
but adelyn...well i danced her right to sleep - right on the very loud dance floor...
i'd like to say uncle t-bone was just as shocked as i was to see two little girls falling asleep amongst such commotion...
but nope - he was just having himself a grand time dancing...showing off his moves...
elena did fall asleep, despite tony's best efforts to entertain her, on super jan...
so we looked something like this for a good portion of the night...do those sippy cups look like horns or what?!
but i had my own sippy cup still going. uncle t-bone was not just good for dancing entertainment, he's good at running to the bar for drink refills too...mmmm, champagne...i was having as much fun as i could, but it was hard not being able to bust a move...
they were all just having so much fun out there...
so i handed my little ad over to my ma for a bit...
and lost my shit to vanilla ice with my brother tony...that may or may not be the running man...i'm not quite sure to be honest...
danced one or two more songs with the girls...(krista, me, heidi, gina and mollie)
and got to tell my cousin heidi how much i love her, how happy i am for her and shane and what a great honor it was to have e be a part of it...
and then i relieved my aunt so she could go bust a move, took miss e and settled back into a seat...where my heart danced all night long. it was a beautiful beautiful wedding, beautiful day and beautiful couple. we were so happy to be there....and even happier that miss e and miss ad were so well behaved and (omg) fell asleep when they needed to. they ended up sleeping 2 hrs during the reception. NEVER would have thought my girls would have done this. they deserve so much more credit. they proved me wrong once again in how truly flexible and tolerable they can be. they did great at their first wedding!
