we are always playing dress up...

in anything we find...

or sometimes we take part of the outfit off so we can pretend we're a ninja....in heels....

we dazzle almost every outfit....

i let the girls dress themselves more often than not....i'm sure their teachers think every day is laundry day or something, but i love to see what they come up with. this winter they've been all about skirts with leggings...

e matches one color, almost too much....and ad, well, not at all....love both!!

starved rock

we took our usual fall hike out at starved rock to see the giant leaves and pretty fall colors...



















e got a phone call on daddy's phone while we were hiking...no joke. this is a true reaction. kinda speechless? we were too.
