look who's got hops

elena's been obsessed with jumping for the last month or so. it's too cute. nearly impossible to catch on film, but too cute and was worth a shot. i just want to bottle up her energy and sell it....and have some for myself of course.

and don't fear, this hasn't replaced the running in circles routine.

two months cont...

my babe is g r o w i n g !!!! we had confirmation this afternoon at the pediatrician's. miss adelyn is 23 1/2 in long (90th %ile) and weighs 14 lbs (off the charts)!! woot woot!! the dr had nothing but great things to say! yay adelyn!

two months

my baby girl is two months old!!! my sweet adelyn, my adde ann, my liddy diddy, my buda babe. i can't believe she's 2 months. it makes me really sad that the last 2 months have come and gone. really crazy!! and crazy that it's almost june, seriously?!

she is still the perfect baby that we brought home 2 months ago. she's a rockstar sleeper!! my sleeping beauty sleeps 9-10 hours straight at night!!! uh-huh!!! we're still working on an earlier bedtime. right now it's about 8:30. she's a fabulous napper too. she gives me one yawn, i lay her down and she puts herself to sleep! she takes two 3 to sometimes 5 hour naps and will have another shorter nap in the evening. yep - rockstar!!

she doesn't seem to eat a whole lot (at least in boob/time ratio). but she is definitely getting enough. she's growing and growing and growing. at 7 weeks old i packed away all 0-3 months clothes. she is strictly in 3-6 and 6 month clothes! and she's in size 2 diapers already. i'm very anxious to see her what her length and height are tomorrow at the dr. but regardless, we are definitely sporting the chubby-lovable-can't-keep-your-hands-off baby rolls already!!! and i LOVE it!!

she's just a happy girl! barely fusses ever. she welcomes new faces and is all smiles! adelyn is very vocal and has that soft sweet baby call! she likes to conversate and is such a good listener. she does like to sit up, stand up and see what's going on, but is actually very laid back. she also loves to be read to and look at the ceiling fans.

miss adelyn at one month was in baby acne glory. it is getting much better now. her hair is falling out, but she still sports her sassy blonde streak. her skin is becoming more fair and her eyes more blue. and i don't know how, but is getting more beautiful everyday.

we weren't kidding about that yardwork....our lawn has been nice and clear of pine cones, twigs and lemon flowers thanks to our eager little worker.






now if only we could get her to clean up like this INSIDE!!! and of course, there is time for fun too...
