disney - day 9

day 9's agenda: travel day....with a pit stop....

a little posing after sleeping in and a big breakfast....we don't want to get on that bus for the airport...

ad fell on the way out and got a dozen or more thorn scratches. :( a sign we just should stay!

some sisterly love...


adelyn fell asleep on the plane...

and e was great too...we had a much smoother plane ride home...

the airline lost our luggage on the way home. waa waa waa. we waited at the airport, they fed us, it sucked. another sign we should have stayed in disney. once we got it, we made a pit stop at my brother's house. earlier that day tony and katie got engaged!!!! and we surprised them at their place to celebrate!!!


an awesome blessing at the end of an awesome family trip!!!

disney - day 8

day 8's agenda: whatever the girls want!!!! and then dinner with mickey and friends!

so every morning there was a note under the door from one of our disney friends inviting us to come hang out with them that day and giving us tips on what to do! today's was from mickey himself and he said that it was the girls' choice on what we did today! whatever they wanted!

so....they chose to swim first! we were there for the opening of the pool and the lifeguards allow the kiddos to sit and feel the water come down....e's in the middle.

adelyn wanted nothing to do with it....

e's favorite - the waterslide....



she'd march right up there by herself (i could see her)....

and go down all by herself....

right before we left i caught a gecko....

e was brave enough to hold it...

strike a pose...

the girls chose magic kingdom out of all the parks, so back we went and rode all those favorite rides...

of course the barnstormer....





we did all our favorites at least once.  and then headed to chef mickey's for dinner....

you'll notice adelyn was finally open to hugging and posing with all of the characters at chef mickey's.....let's say she was very easily bribed by the sundae bar....







donald was trying to steal e's ice cream....

e was part of goofy's parade...

she, um, liked it....

it was the perfect way to say to goodbye to our disney friends...waiting for the bus....

we headed back for the resort and made a wish at every fountain we crossed...

i am just sure they will all come true for us....
