big 'ol easter post

probably the biggest easter post ever...but i'm very behind and had to do it. bear with me! there was some easter fun had!!

we colored eggs, of course. e just loved this! she loved picking the colors. she wasn't a fan of writing on them too much because we used a white crayon and she couldn't see it. i'll know next time to just use colored crayons! she had a hard time waiting for them...the whole 4 seconds it took.

ad did not like this part...cause i wouldn't let her hold them...she crushed them.
she's a strong one, lil ad!
they both like hard boiled eggs, so we enjoyed a few right away!
then of course once they were asleep, mr easter bunny came and left trails from their bedrooms out to their baskets...
which they didn't find until easter morning...
e loved shaking each egg to check if there was loot!
little ad caught on right away...

then of course...opening them...
a few m&m's for sunday's breakfast...

after tearing apart their baskets, we got semi-dressed and headed out to hunt for more easter eggs!
e was all over it!!
ad loved watching...

both their bags were full (e kept filling ad's - so sweet!)! the bags are from super aunty jan! aren't they so adorable?!!! they sing 'peter cottentail' too!

the photoshoot didn't last long...
well except for this one...
then we went back in and rifled through them...
the edible loot from the easter bunny that visited our house...
after lunch we headed to papa and bobbi's (my parents) to see what the easter bunny left for the girls over there! [we aren't actually celebrating easter with my fam for another 2 weeks!]
ad was hoping there were some on the stairs...no such luck!

the edible loot from the easter bunny that visited papa and bobbi's...looks like a different (and super domestic) easter bunny, huh?! how cute are bunny shaped cookies and rice crispy treats!? and damn delicious too!
ad started break dancing (no lie)...
she had some sick moves too...
from break dancing to pole-dancing....JUST KIDDING!!! why do kids love stairs so much!?
we tried another mini photoshoot outside...
their super cute and matching dresses, hats and sweaters are from their bobbi!!! (yea, thanks to bobbi and super aunty jan they looked so stinkin' cute!)
e was holding her hat on cuz it was so windy...
ad should've done the same...there it goes...

then bobbi took e to pick some flowers to bring home. it's so nice having fresh flowers in the house. i'm hoping bobbi lets e come cut some every, oh i don't know, week or so???!! :)
she's LOVES them!
ad and i with great grandpa...
THEN...after ad's nap we headed to grandma and grandpa's (j's parents) for easter dinner and another egg hunt to see what the easter bunny brought the girls over there. e got to make the fruit plate. she did a wonderful job!
her and her cousin connor were very excited for the egg hunt...

he was pushing her hair out of her face. how cute!!!
here's the edible loot from the easter bunny that came to grandma and grandpa's AND great-grandma and great-grandpa's...i am NOT zooming in. we have enough candy for about 5 or 6 easters! ;)
we had a wonderful easter! the girls got some cute clothes, outdoor toys, books and movies! very very fun! we are still playing "easter" with all the eggs! they just loved it!

Great post! I love the "pole dancing" photo! Is miss Adelyn trying to rip her sweater off?! What are you teaching these little gals? ;)
