vacation part 3

told ya i'd be slow...i'll try and pick it up here, i promise. i'm so behind.

DAY 5
the morning after the wedding drake and landen both had baseball games. e was still sleeping though landen's game, but we got there for drake's. in fact a lot of people from the iv did...we filled the whole bleachers. :D i'm behind the stroller with ad. ad's first baseball game...

then we went back for a nap...
only one didn't really want to nap...
then we headed to a private lake beach where shane and heidi hosted a beach picnic for all of us...e couldn't wait...she went straight to play...
and little ad felt sand under her feet for the first time...
and both played and played and played...
they loved it...

and i felt terrible that i didn't bring their swimsuits. i had them. i just truly didn't think they'd want anything to do with the water. silly me.
so whatever. we got wet and very dirty in our clothes.





e making sand angels...totally her idea. all of a sudden she was on her back making the attempt. hilarious.
this shirt made it in the garbage by the end of the day...



after a long day of play, ad started collecting duck/goose poop!
and was very very filthy...
so she had a quick 'bath'...her first skinny dip...plus i just really like the way the towel make me look i have guns in this picture...
e ended up having a 'bath' too. her first skinny dip as well. and cuz i totally dropped the bomb and didn't have a change of clothes, i had to squeeze her into one of ad's diapers. 2 nakey diapered babies at the beach = adorbale!!
especially when they're devouring cupcakes...

adelyn held heidi's hand the whole walk to the car...it was so sweet...
that night we put the kiddos to bed early and headed out to 'daily's', a sport bar that my aunt and her husband co-own, for some drinks and bar food...mmmm...my cousins ordered me a ridiculously large beer...and i enjoyed it very very much!!!
krista, me, mollie and gina...(devin was with us too)
and i met some new friends on the dance floor...they may have taught me a few new moves to try out in the midwest too...
DAY 6
we headed to another lake for a long walk, picnic in the shade and to feed the ducks...landen and ad...

e having her lunch...
after our lunch, we started to feed some ducks...the girls' first time...
it was so pretty having the mountains to look at everyday...
e noticed some pigeons came for some food too...
the pigeons...
then they all started coming...can you see all those ducks swimming over?
there were some geese in that bunch too...


then they all started getting a bit greedy and chasing us up on the lawn...
so we started back around the lake...e wanted to stay and feed the ducks... see?
but bobbi and super jan helped her get over it... see?
gina and e...landen's to the right on his scooter...
that night we headed to 'the ranch', the other sport bar my aunt and her husband co-own for dinner...mmmm...and e and ad 'played' their first arcade game...
