elena's soccer program ran for 6 weeks this fall. and she did not like one week of it. :( she was always fine, but also always said she didn't want to go, etc.
after watching a quick video of one of her soccer games, i kinda see why. it's pretty boring for them at this age. run, run, run, maybe kick the ball, run some more. so soccer was not a favorite. we shall see if she'll want to try it again next year.
this summer she learned how to dribble, so i asked her if she wanted to try basketball this year - she replied with a quick and firm "no." she doesn't even know what it really is. lol. i just love watching her figure out what she loves and what she'd rather just play once in a while. what paths will take her where...
