and miss elena got, uh, really into it...
she knows how to cast and reel up...
and was all about doing it again and again and again and again...
she was all over the fish too. we had to hold her back and tell her to only use one finger to touch them. 
she seemed a little too comfortable being so close to the water...
i felt she was going to go right in several times....
miss adelyn cheered from the sidelines...
ok, well, we laughed...
and had our own fun...
while daddy and elena fished...
catch and release...
until a meltdown, of course! (a meltdown has been accompanying every fun activity lately!) this one.....this one was because she couldn't go in the lake.
at least adelyn had fun the whole time!

Ha ha ha! I appreciate knowing I'm not the only one with a 2 year old that has serious meltdowns. I also appreciate that you don't miss an opportunity to capture her mid meltdown, snotty faced and hand in mouth. So 2.

Too cute! And I hear you on the meltdowns. We have yet to have a day when Ellie doesn't cry.
