we've done it every summer with elena and now adelyn could finally join in...
she was off to a slow start...
but after some encouragement she got really into it...
like really into it...
then she started painting herself...
and being all cute and coy about it...
it then became old and she wanted to be (gasp!) held!
she was having no luck with us, so she would go back and paint...
paint and walk around trying to get us...in the meantime painting the deck with her tiny foot prints...
it turned into a game of chase...haha. she was loving it. 
daddy finally got her and tried to wash her off in the sprinkler...
but she would get loose and come for me...my sweet ad.
adelyn's masterpiece...
elena is experienced in our finger painting fun...
and she of course loves it...
she wastes no time to get to what she really loves about it....body painting.
she's very focused...
this year she even covered her back....impressive e.
and check out that green eyebrow...haha.
i hope she doesn't realize she forgot her cheeks and shoulders and want to do it again. she was all about the cheeks and shoulders last year. (tear - she looks SOOOO little.) ok, she was all about everything last year too.
she enjoyed washing it off in the sprinkler just as much as putting it on...
loving every minute...sweet e...

that looks like fun...what do you use water color?? Im assuming easy removal. That's an awesome tradition!
just washable finger paints. definite easy wash away! ;)
Wow, I actually see Jason in a lot of Elena's expressions! They are both gorgeous! I think you need a 3rd :)
