pumpkin patch

last weekend we headed out to the pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins...and see the animals of course. miss ad was smitten with the sheep...and elena couldn't get enough of their baaaa's.
trying to get a good view of the llamas...
they especially loved the baby goats...
e trying on a tractor for size...
climbing the haystacks is always so much fun...but elena fell in. can you see? she recovered quickly. but then adelyn followed right behind and dropped right in. literally. her whole little body just became one with the haystack. jason fished her out right away and we stayed away from that side.
queen of the stacks...

ad climbed the other side...got a good 2 under her and wimpered to get down. i hope holes in haystacks won't scar her forever.
e also climbed through the tunnels buried under those haystacks...
but ad just watched with momma...
elena couldn't quite understand the difference between putting your face "up to" it and "through" it...we were there awhile. ha.
then we watched the pigs race for an apple cider donut....mmmm.
and lanie jae rode the same pony she did at a carnival a few months ago....'blue'
adde was not having picture time...shocking!
cruising the pumpkins....
ad still didn't care for her picture to be taken. what was shocking was the price of these pumpkins!!!
e was my ham as usual...
she was loving climbing all through them...

so we got home and set out our pricey pumpkins...
ad continued to NOT want to sit with the pumpkins...
and e continued to be my ham...
and ad had a lot fun walking up and down the front steps a few dozen times...pumpkin shmumpkin.

Cute pics! Perfect post for Oct 1st. We're still waiting for cooler weather before hitting up the patch. Hopefully soon!
