we had a whopping 24 hours to get used to the 30 degree drop in the temperature. but that's okay. we definitely enjoyed the hot hot 100 degree heat index that seemed to last all summer! helk, even daddy and i went swimming this summer more that we usually do...
which the girls sure enjoyed...

she would request the sprinkler/slip-n-slide/baby pool every single sunday. this past sunday was the first that we couldn't because of the weather....
adelyn has developed quite the relationship with the water as well this summer!

e collecting water in her mouth to spit at daddy....thankfully she couldn't spit OUT, just down...
more water on daddy...
e for sure mastered the slip-n-slide this summer....
she even had the running and jumping into it DOWN...
her and daddy had plenty of races down the slip-n-slide....
e always had a bit of a head start...
the kiddie pool is not just for kiddies...

excited for water e...she just LOVES the water...
oh, and i was there for our many water fun days too....
we're going to miss you summer!! but oh how we love fall!!

Oh so true...always hard to say goodbye to summer, but Fall is so much fun!
