family portrait

so elena is into drawing "pictures." she draws mommy. she draws an elephant. she draws seaweed. she draws a house. she draws shapes, letters, numbers, etc. of course - all of these look incredibly similar....like the cutest scribbles you've ever seen. although she is getting good at the circle and line (also known as the letter l or number 1). :D

but she draws our family: daddy, mommy, elena, adelyn and dogs dallas and leo. one big happy family. she will do it over and over and over. and each and every time...mommy is the BIGGEST scribble! every time. every time.

of course i am feeling a bit subconscience cuz i still have these lovable 5 pounds to lose.....but my incredibly insightful and intelligent cousin heidi pointed out that i'm always the biggest scribble cuz i'm the biggest PART of her life! so, yea - that's totally it.
