four months old

w.o.w. baby adelyn is four months already. i can't believe it. i can't believe she was the not-so-little butterball growing inside me that i was SO worried about coming just a few months ago!!! i so feared HOW she would arrive - but she came the 'right' way and all was perfect. i so feared HOW it would be loving two - but of course she came and no one has ever made loving easier. i so feared HOW it would be mothering two - but of course she came and has made it even more amazing. it feels like she's always been here. and she's just been such a blessing. as usual, some pics of my babe from the past month...

this was actually taken when she was right at 3 months old. i know it's the angle, but doesn't she look about as big as e!?

she likes that! hee.

she's been wanting to roll forever now....but it hasn't happened. i'm not sure she has the motivation to be honest. she seems to really want to. and she gets like 3/4 of the way there and says, "nah, nevermind, i'm good as is." haha.

she already has her "i'm cool," "take a good look," "uh-huh that's right" look down. i think it runs in the fam, just saying.

and her "watch it," "step off," "don't even think about it," "i'm not buying it," "you best keep walking" look down too. it...perhaps...runs in the fam as well.

but usually we're all smiles!!!

she still has that blonde patch...

she 'sits'...or folds in half....whatever you want to call it. haha. she'll stay like this forever i swear. ok, i actually haven't tried it, but for quite a while. now if she could just straighten her back...but then she'd probably tip over. maybe she knows she won't tip if she stays close to the floor. smart girl. haha.

she's found those pretty toes...this is one of my favorite things about this age.

she scoots everywhere by pushing with her feet. she's all over her crib now. and she scoots right off her playmat. she can no longer be trusted on my bed and i have to hold her on her changing pad cuz she just immediately pushes herself with her feet. she ALWAYS does it on her back, and sometimes on her belly. quick example....

she's also been lifting weights....check out those biceps people!!

and is SHOCKED you don't believe she does..."arm wrestle challenge, anyone?!"

lanie already has ad practicing with the spoon...

she'll be all ready to go in 2 months...
