it's beginning to look a lot like christmas...

the turkey's been long gone now...
and it's beginning to look a lot like christmas!!! with xmas trees, xmas pj's, xmas pedi's and xmas cookies! (and lots and lots of snow, but those pics to come later.)

once i had elena, black friday got replaced with putting up the tree and decorating the house...thankfully i have 2 helpers! this year included some red sparkly pedicures as well. tis the season, right?!

then we hung out admiring the tree in our xmas pj's...in the xmas tree barrier. (we've only had two ornament casualties thus far.) the girls also got to decorate trees for their rooms...
they loved it!!!
both girls were slow in understanding 'spread them out'...
adelyn put the ornaments on the same branch unless we guided her...heehee.
and elena used a few branches....just right next to each other.
but she was all about clustering too...

then it was on to adelyn's tree...they were pro's by this time.

and of course we baked some xmas cookies. the girls are able to do just about everything, besides use the oven, on their own. i can't tell ya how much fun they had.
i think their favorite thing was unwrapping the hersey kisses. this is the progress of miss ad successfully swiping a chocolate kiss...hee hee.
so then of course e swiped one too...she had my look of approval. the final touch...

we enjoyed them thoroughly. chocolate first for both girls.

we have lots more xmas cookies to bake before the big day so we can have some for the big guy!
