our christmas

ah, yes christmas is always so wonderful. always has been. but each and every year with the girls now in our life it just gets better and better!!!

christmas eve...we get some cookies for santa.

milk too...

and write him a special note...

that was dictated to dad of course...

we read 'twas the night before christmas...

all is set for the big guy...

and the girls were GOOD!!!

helping daddy open his gifts...

this christmas i had the girls legitimately pick out their gifts for one another. ok, i helped ad a little. but e picked it out for ad all by herself and even helped wrap it, writing 'to adelyn, love elena.' here they are opening them...

adelyn got elena a hair and makeup set...

elena got adelyn a dora microphone...

and now for the BIG gift...that they surprisingly didn't want to open til last...

a DOLLHOUSE!!!! it's only the biggest dollhouse ever! apparently santa forgot how small our house is and didn't pay attention to the dimensions...silly santa.

time to play!!!

poor ad can barely reach the top floor...

daddy went out to his truck to get mommy's presents while the girls were playing. he tries so hard to be sneaky, even after 17 christmas' together.
haha. i love this one... ad's marching that baby right up the stairs...
now let's do our hair and make up...
a little mascara on christmas morning...
and some straight hair too...
we played for hours. we had such a wonderful christmas morning!
