wrestling

i spent the first 16 years of my life wrestling on the living room floor with my two brothers. if there were more than two of us on carpet (and by carpet, i really mean ANY where with a smidgen of space), there was a wrestling match. the living room matches still occasionaly continue when we're all home. they are something, for me, that defines my childhood and what i think about when i think of 'home.'

i'm so glad nothing has changed with having two girls...

well, ok...not exactly the same. i mean chances are if e or ad ever get me in a cradle, i could actually get out. i love wrestling around with my girls.

I wish we could go back to the days of worn carpet and broken furniture when you and your brothers were so young. Our house would never have graced the pages of Better Homes and Gardens but you made some happy, crazy memories.
